So one product that I have always loved for wedding announcements is the Save the Date Magnets that you can have customized for your wedding with your date checked off on it.  Not only do the save the date magnets work great because people stick them on their fridge so that they remember the wedding and to not make plans over your big day, but you can also get ones with picture frames, ones that let them fill in other important dates around your wedding, you can check off when to order your wedding present if you want to add in a joke and you can also make random notes on other days on the save the date magnet as well which is something that I absolutely love about them. However, there are a few things to remember when sending out your save the date magnets.

1.  Send a picture of yourself with it for underneath or inside the magnet.  I just think it is a nice touch and because a lot of people use save the date magnets to announce their wedding day and even sometimes that they are getting married, it makes it an even better surprise and more meaningful for the people who you are inviting to your wedding.

2.  Check the magnets to make sure that the printer who printed your customized save the date magnets remembered to mark the right date on the magnets.  They do make mistakes so catch their mistakes before you send them out.

3.  Don’t forget to include your phone number and the address of the place you are getting married at.  Its not a bad idea either to include an email address or the address and number of your wedding planner if you have one so people can rsvp and remember to rsvp if something changes and they cannot make it or are able to make it last minute.
