Three Olives Lemon Lime “The Dewd” Vodka Drink Recipes

So last weekend I was in Philadelphia PA to get away from DC for a weekend and I met the nicest person. His name was Nick Dellavella and he is a rep. for Three Olives Vodka. If you can’t tell by reading this and my other blogs you’ll know that I am 100% an Absolute girl and never give other vodkas a chance anymore. Anyways, Nick was very cute and friendly and convinced me to give three olives a try, including the brand new Three Olives “The Dewd” lemon lime vodka. Here’s what happened.

Not only did I end up over doing it and drinking Three Olives Vodka all night, I woke up without a hangover too! That is exactly why I also go straight to Absolute instead of Stoli, Grey Goose or Belvedere. They all leave me feeling like crap the next day. For some reason Absolute never did and after drinking Three Olives Vodka for two nights in a row, it left me feeling great in the morning. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. The flavors come through very strong so you don’t really need mixers and you can blend them in with almost anything which is why I came up with a few Three Olives Lemon Lime Vodka cocktails that I wanted to share with all of you. Please remember that alcohol can be dangerous and is illegal for people under 21 in the USA so please drink responsibly if you try these drinks. I know I will be drinking them responsibly tonight!

The Three Olives Lemon Lime Sake Cucumber Martini.

This drink is absolutely to die for. What I do is I freeze a martini glass so it gets that fabulous frosty look on the glass. Then I chill saki, add in the Three Olives Lemon Lime Vodka and a little splash of soda water (The soda water is if you don’t like it strong). Then I shake the martini shaker and pour into the glass. To garnish it I take a cucumber wheel and I float it in the martini. I also take a second one and lay it over the side of the martini glass. This drink is amazing with dinner, fish, sushi, some chicken and for fun with the girls. I love it because its salty from the saki, sweet and sour from the vodka and light and fresh from the cucumber.

Lemon Lime Three Olives Sangria

This is now one of my favorite cocktails to make. What I do is take a bottle of melony chardonnay, Three Olives Lemon Lime Dewd Vodka and honeydew and cantaloupe melons. 24 hours before you need the drink, scoop out balls of honeydew and cantaloupe. Now put them in a glass and pour lemon lime vodka into the glasses. Now refridgerate for 12 hours and then place in the freezer for 12. Now take a large pitcher and pour your wine into it. Take the frozen melon balls and drop a few in. (You can also freeze peaches and drop them in to for extra flavor and fun). Now take a few more of the frozen lemon lime vodka balls and place them in the serving cups. Now you have a fun and fruity version of sangria to serve to friends.

Lemon Lime Soda

This is a simple and extremely low calorie cocktail. Take your Three Olives Lemon Lime Dewd Vodka and pour 2 ozs. into a glass over ice. Now fill the rest of the glass with soda water (calorie free) and top with a lemon and a lime wheel. You now have a refreshing and tasty lemon lime soda that you can drink at the bar.

I’ve fallen in love with Three Olives vodka thanks to Nick Dellavella. I have a few more Three Olives Vodka drink recipes, but they will have to wait for another day. I can’t wait to share my slushy cocktail recipes and lemon lime belini with you as well. I’ll probably post them after Labor Day when I have my friends try them in Rehoboth Beach.

Buy Bake Pops As Seen On TV Here. Bake Pops Recipes.

I just saw a commercial for Bake Pops as seen on tv. Bake Pops are basically the same exact thing as the bride and groom brownie pops that I had recommended a few years ago and still love. The difference between the Bake Pops as seen on tv cake lollipops maker and the brownie pops are that you get to make your own. They are basically the same things you see at starbucks but now you can create your own flavors, toppings and designs. Here are a few of my favorite ideas when creating Bake Pops as seen on tv cake lollipop pans.

Wedding Pops – I would use these for bridal showers, grooms parties, in the dressing room for the bride and groom. What I would do is make the bake pops in the bakepop pan and then take the circular cake ball and roll it through a whipped cream icing. (The reason I am not using buttercream is that it is their wedding day and I don’t want them to feel weighted down. Whipped cream icing is light and easy to eat). Then I would take a block of white chocolate and a block of dark chocolate and then use a vege or potatoe peeler to make chocolate curls and shavings. Then take the cake ball and place the shavings and curls all over them and you have gorgeous black and white cake pops and bake pops for your wedding.

Adult Bake Pops – This is a fun one. Make a very alcohol rich rum cake so that you can still take the alcohol. Now, pour the batter into the cake bakepops pan and bake it. Now make a buttercream or whipped cream icing with Kahlua in it. Stick the sticks into the cake balls and then ice them with the Kahlua cream. For an extra touch of fun, use a candied orange peel over the center like a belt.

Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day American Bakepops – This is simple. I would make a white cake and drop little red white and blue sprinkles into the batter. Then I would use a white butter cream for the icing and drop star shaped red white and blue candies on them. Sprinkles work too.

Valentines day bakepops. These cake pops are amazing. Use a dark and rich red velvet cake batter and do a white chocolate icing with red food coloring to dye it red. Then use red heart shaped candies or cinnamon dot candies or chocolate sprikles on them to make a rich, dark and chocolaty valentines bakeoppos cakepops treat for you and your lover.

Summertime Cakepops. This is one of my favorite. Do a lemon batter with lemon icing, your pick on the type and then after you place the stick and ice them, shave a lemon with a grater so you get lemon zest for decoration on the top. You can also do this with oranges and then refrigerate them. Now you have amazing cake pop recipes for the summer that are cooling and refreshing and more importantly, delicious.

The as seen on tv bakepop pan makes cake pops easily. By using the cake pops recipes I provided above, but using your own batter recipes, you and your friends will enjoy cakepops recipes and treats all summer and year round. I absolutely love the bakepop pan because everywhere you go people charge way to much for cake pops. The thing I love about cake pops are they are small enough to help you not overeat your portions of cake and fun enough to be able to make and show off at parties. 3 Things Married People Have to Change Their Names On

Getting married is one of the most wonderful things in life. Changing your last name is definitely not one of the wonderful things about marriage though. It’s no wonder that many couples now-a-days have decided to keep their original last names. The thing is that it can be a pain in the butt to have to change it because of lines, government offices, etc… If you’re getting married and are changing your last name to your partner’s last name, here is a checklist of 3 things that you’ll not want to forget to change.

Your License.

The most obvious thing to change when you take your partner’s last name is your license. To do this you just need to go to your local DMV and have all the proper paperwork. Because there are a million different DMVs that all require different things, I don’t have a link to share with you. Try Googling your local town name with the term DMV after it.

Your Passport.

This is one that many people forget about until it is to late. By the time you get ready for your trip, you may not have time to order a new passport. Luckily there are places where you can order new passports online as well as order one for a name change. My personal preference is VisaHQ.com. VisaHQ makes it simple for a passport name change and gives you all of the instructions right on their website.

Your bank accounts and personal checks.

This seems like a no brainer, but many people forget to order new checks with their new last name on them. If you change your last name and have your new last name on your license but forget your checks and bank account, you may end up not being able to use them. Have you ever gone to a gas station or department store and they ask for your ID when you use your credit or debit card? Guess what, if they don’t match you can’t use it and you end up embarrassed and without the products you wanted. Luckily you can order checks online by clicking any of the banners below, but you have to go to your bank to change the last name on your account.

Getting married is an amazing thing, but changing your last name is a pain. If you do decide to take your partner’s last name, make sure you don’t forget to change everything else. Start with your license and bank accounts, then move onto your checks, passports and other documents.

Ok, I am a complete sucker for all things cheesy, especially when it comes to love.
