I just saw a commercial for Get Eggies or something like that. This is an awesome invention in my opinion because I absolutely hate peeling shells off of hardboiled eggs when I am making deviled eggs or egg salad for summer picnics because it takes a while and wastes time. What’s nice about Get Eggies as seen on tv is that they take the hard part out since all you have to do is pour the egg inside of the molds and then boil the molds so that there is no shell. I do have to tell you that I do not own get eggies right now, but this is something I probably will end up buying. So here is what I am loving about the Get Eggies as seen on tv egg cooker.
1. No more shells. Like I said above, the thing I hate most about having to cook with eggs is the shells. By not having to peel shells you’ll not only save time, but you’ll save embarrassing looks if you accidentally miss one and someone eats it.
2. The Eggies whites separator. Separating whites is a pain as we all know. The commercial for eggies looks like it comes with a whites separator which makes this product even more tempting to buy. Now you can more easily make a ton of desserts that need whites because the easy separator. Not to mention the slicer and other things that come with Eggies from the commercial on tv.
3. The flat bottom. If you have ever had to make a meal or appetizer and had to stand them up, you know it can be a pain. That’s why many people slice them in half and leave them lower to the plate. Because Eggies have a flat bottom you can now stand them vertical and make a million different designs. You can pipe on colors, use a larger or taller filling and frosting and you can also get even more creative and slice it to do taller intricate designs by using the center and cool looking hollowed out part of the egg.
I absolutely love the thought behind eggies, but since it is easy to boil eggs and this product looks legit, I would probably say that this would be a good product to buy. As long as the eggs don’t end up sticking to the molds. That would be my biggest concern with Eggies.
