The Top Fall Fashion Trends for Men.
I just have to say that I am going fall fashion crazy with Men’s Fashions. Not only do I love what has come out for fall and how the lumberjack plaid look has dissapeared, but the color palats of mens fashions for fall are absolutely insane,,,,or as Rachel Zoe would say Banana’s. Not only are darker colors and denim colors (not denim fabric) back in big time, but you also have metallics and metallic fabrics coming back in full force. It is almost like emo meets fashionable with a main stream style. Buckels and Studs and Straps are in for fall fashion and mens fashion this fall and you also have jackets, greens and some olive toned browns, greys and blues. So what to wear and where can you find it at all price ranges.
I looked through he catalogs at Express and at Nordstroms, I checked out Sax 5th Avenue and I also looked at TJ Maxx and the one thing in common is the same looks and feels and colors. The differences between them, besides the prices obviously, is the fabrics and the intricacy of the styles and stitches. Express shocked me with a couple of their designs from a distance and in their catalog but unfortunately in person they were the same fabrics but just didn’t look or feel like the high end designers that they resembled. The clothing there was absolutely on key with fall fashion for men and extremely affordable. Instead of pulling clothes from a million sources for this post, I decided to go to an old favorite that everyone in Washington DC or Chicago Illinois knows and loves.
Universal Gear is a boutique clothing store for men. Oddly enough, even though they hire a gorgeous staff and get some extremely good looking customers, I love shopping there because no matter what you look like or how you are dressed they treat you equally at Universal Gear. I can easily picture this under a bomber styled jacket or under some sort of vintage coat. The thing I liked most about this Andrew Christian Deep Scoop Neck tshirt is that even people with round and oval faces were able to pull it off…it technically looked better on people with an ovular face but not bad at all for the people with round faces.

The Ben Sherman Mint Green Classic V Neck Sweater. V Necks are back in big time for Men’s Fall Fashions. We are seeing VNeck sweaters and tshirts everywhere and Ben Sherman V Neck Sweaters are taking over. Another personal favorite Ben Sherman Classic Styled V Neck Sweater was the deep red or maroon color. The Fortunate Sun TDX Brown Tshirt. Although younger people would wear this brown tshirt by itself, if you are over 22 you will want to put it under something else like a zip down hoody, a cardigan or light indoor coat. It has a youthful but sophisticated design and look but at the same time needs something more if you are over 22. I don’t know if I would buy or wear this as it is not my style but I know that looks like these are not only always popular and in demand, but the color is perfect for many other fall lines so it is one of those shirts that will fit into your fall wardrobe easily.

Fred Perry Classic Green Vintage Polo. Every season we see similar polos from every designer but for some reason I love this classic green polo shirt from Fred Perry. Although Fred Perry is not as well known as other designers, his polo shirts are amazing for everyday wear, work wear and business casual. You’ll also see his designs and styles showing up at clubs, lounges and bars everywhere in the fall since they carry over from work to fun for preppy and alternative people. The Gstar Cole Cardigan Sweater. Oddly enough my favorite clothes from Gstar usually don’t turn out to be denim. Even though I am also not all about cardigan sweaters, this Gstar denim cardigan sweater jumped out at me as something that guys are going to love for fall. Not only does it have a great cut, but you can wear practically anything from patterns to solids below. Dress it up with a tie or down with a torn tshirt to go alternative, this Gstar cardigan sweater is absolutely perfect for men for the fall…especially if you want to try to pull off the nerdy or studious looks.
Levis Coated Scraped 54 Jeans Slim Fit
The Levis Coated Scraped 54 Denim Jeans. Although I absolutely love the wash and the fade on the straight legged jeans, I can never get over the thread colors that Levis uses on their designer lines. I did find myself wearing and loving a pair of Voi jeans from London with a similar colored thread and because they became my favorite jeans on earth I am giving Levis a chance this fall. The wash and the cut on these Levis Coated Scraped 54 straight cut jeans is absolutely amazing and becaus the stitching does sort of work into fall colors they are an ideal darker jean to match everything from button down shirts to polos and especially tshirts.
