Ikea Commercial – Finally Reaching to The Gays!

I know that I normally only review wedding and bridal types of products and related goods here, but I was watching Bravo right now (Top Chef) and saw a commercial for Ikea. I was like ok, they are listing the benefits of shopping at Ikea like the flat boxes the product comes in, how you don’t have to pay for packing materials when you can just buy new things when you move as Ikea is cheap, etc…

Anyways, while the blond haired white woman was putting together the three door redish Hermenes (I think this is right) dresser, and the elderly African Amercian woman is commenting on how the lady who bought the clothing can now afford to fill it up with clothes is about to wrap up the commercial when she says something along the lines of “Then you can go out the clubs and meet a man, OR WOMAN, I don’t judge.” It is about time Ikea finally realizes that their customers and support base is not just the WASP family, but it also includes the African American population and most importantly, they finally gave recognition to the Gay Population who has supported them for years and years.

Thank you Ikea for showing the Gays some respect. I am coming shopping in the morning tomorrow now.

So I am loving this store as well. It is called sleepy heads and they have a wedding section called Wedding Fairy. Not only is that too perfect but it is big pink and tacky. The site is broken out into numerous sections.

For the bride includes everything from Loungewear to Blushing Bride pajamas, the Blushing Blue line and Pink for the cure. WeddingFairy.com even has a section with gifts and sleepwear for the Mother of the Bride. In the mother of the bride section you will find everything to calm and relax the Mother of the Brides nerves including photo frames, handbags, photoalbums, sleepshirts and more.
