Dean and Deluca – Gotta Love it!

Dean and Deluca need no introduction to the regular wedding goer or gift giver.  Now although the company allows itself to get ripped off by thieves on a very regular basis, the one thing they are very smart about is the quality of gifts they supply.

I personally loved the santa claus ginger bread house that dean and deluca featured this year in their catalog, however that is an extremely seasonal item, so if you’re looking for a more proper wedding gift, I would probably recommend you move forward with e Dean and Deluca gift basket or cheese wheel.  They are not only delicious, but classy and very nice to receive. I would personally recommend sending or buying the three month cheese club membership from Dean and Deluca as an ideal wedding gift for gay couples or even straight couples.  Suppose cheese is not your thing.  You may want to try the Dean and Deluca wine shop.

The Dean and Deluca website makes shopping for wine easy.  In the drop down menu, you can sort by price, varietal and many other ways.  Again, I would recommend doing a wine club as a gift from Dean and Deluca, or pick out a nice variety pack including a red like a Cabarnet, a white like a chardonnay and a rose champagne as those are beginning to get extremely popular and trendy again.  Wine is an ideal gift for everyone, even if the receiving end does not drink.  They can use it to entertain or as a talking piece, heck, they can even use it to regift someone in the future.  My theory is that you can never go wrong with wine, unless the married couple is under 21 or a severe recovering alcoholic who does not have control yet. If you want a recommendation of a wine club to buy as a gift for someone, I highly recommend the Dean and Deluca Great Introductions wine club gift.  It comes in a nice wooden box and supplies a fabulous variety to the experienced and novice wine drinker.  Most of the wines will also come directly from the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.  If you still don’t find anything you like but are in a serious time crunch, you can always take the easy way out and buy pastires or cakes from Dean and Deluca.

Although pastries and cakes are a lame present for a wedding, there is no arguing that Dean and Deluca know how to bake the hell out of some pastries.  I love their cakes and cookies as well as their gourmet styles of cooking and fabulous presentation.  As I mentioned earlier in this post, their santa clause ginger bread cookie house was fabulous and fantastic.  If it is not too late I highly recommend you click here and order it as it can easily be a show stopper at your Christmas Party.  The one thing I do feel sad about and wish they would do is a Hanukah themed pastry set or gifting set.  It would be nice if Dean and Deluca catered to everyone instead of just Christmas, but hey not every company can be perfect.

Pecker Party Straws from Bachelorette.com – Perfect peckers for Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties.

It’s been a while since my last post and I apologize.  It is that time of year when everything is crazy.  Speaking of crazy, I need a break from all the holiday cheer.  I mean seriously, there is only so much I can take.  I am sure many of you are over all the holiday ads everywhere and just want something normal or fun for a change.  That is why I have decided to share with you a popular and always crowd pleasing bachelorette party penis pecker sipping straws.

These fun and phalic straws are sure to get your party started,,,,well unless you are of the lesbian persuasion (I have boob straws coming in a later post…you can however click this link to the penis shaped straws and search for boobs.)  The penis straws are solid colored but your box or container filled have multiple colors.  My personal favorite is the green as I think everything should be green.  =0).  The only one they seem to be missing is black…then again I don’t know if a black penis straw could fit.  (Ohh ya, I went there =0) ).

These straws are delightfully sinful and everyone will want to carry them around wherever you go to celebrate your bachelorette party.  When we bought these straws for my one friend’s party, we ended up running out of them at the club within the first 20 minutes.  We all brought our straws from the champagne toast in the limo and most of us had extras in our coat pockets so we don’t have to reuse them.  It turns out everyone in the first bar wanted one too and we got the entire lineup of people sucking down their drinks through the penis straws.  Even a few lesbians fancied the penis straws that night.  We got some great jokes too about I haven’t done this for years, don’t tell my girlfriend, etc…
